The Radar de Tir pour l'Artillerie de Campagne (RATAC) is a light battlefield surveillance radar that was designed under the direction of the French military. The system performs surveillance of surface targets and low-flying aircraft.
The radar has four operational modes: detection, acquisition, identification and automatic tracking. The system can also be used for surveillance and direction of own troops, artillery and helicopters.
