The Milan (missile d'infantrie leger antichar) portable medium-range anti-tank missile was developed by the Euromissile consortium. The Milan has been widely exported, adapted to several platforms and used in many conflicts.
The firing unit consists of a periscopic firing post and the missile container, each of which is carried by one person. The missile container holds the missile and the power supply for the firing post; each container is used only once.
