The Stormer armored personnel carrier (APC) is an enlarged Spartan APC. Development was undertaken by the Military Vehicles and Engineering Establishment (a U.K. Ministry of Defense facility), and production is by Alvis (manufacturers of the Scorpion).

Stormer was not seen as a replacement for the older FV432 APC. Most of the British interest has been directed at the Stormer air defense and mine layer variants.
