P166 Albatross

The P166 was an Italian-produced multipurpose aircraft, used in both military and general aviation. Its military roles included search-and-rescue (SAR), light tactical transport, air ambulance, trainer and maritime patrol.

The unusual basic design remained essentially the same during its production life. Earlier variants were piston-powered, while later aircraft had turboprops.
