F1300 Jet Squalus trainer/attack aircraft

The Jet Squalus was a light attack/trainer aircraft, designed in Italy by Dr. Ing Stelio Frati for construction in Belgium by Promavia. In 1992, however, Promavia purchased a building in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, to manufacture the Squalus.

The Jet Squalus featured a straight wing with trailing-edge taper set low at mid-fuselage. The wing had a 6-degree dihedral angle and incidence washing out from 1 degree at the root to -2 degree at the tip. The trailing edge had one section of...
