Maryland-based firm TCOM produces a family of an unmanned, helium-filled, tethered aerostats designed for persistent surveillance and radar operations. The aerostats are available in three different classes: tactical (12 m to 17 m), operational (22 m to 28 m) and strategic (71 m to 74 m).

A variety of sensor systems can be integrated. The tactical class aerostats can carry video surveillance, infrared, signals intelligence and communications relay equipment.
