The GA22 was an unmanned surveillance airship built for the Spanish Defense Ministry by Lindstrand Technology, a British company founded by Swedish balloonist Per Lindstrand. In 2007, the design was purchased by BAE Systems, which developed it into a larger model for civilian purposes (see "Variants" below).
