The SeaWolf is a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that was originally designed to destroy buried mines. Later variants were re-engineered as an autonomous platform. For mine-disposal missions, the SeaWolf is fitted with a droppable blast charge. Replacing the charge with a new payload, including sensors or energy modules, enables the vehicle to be used for autonomous short-endurance missions.
