The Pluto family of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) was developed privately by Gaymarine of Italy. The basic vehicle is based on the FILIPPO underwater inspection device.

The Pluto has a fiberglass body mounted on a steel sled frame for ease of handling. The forward section, which carries the sensors, can tilt up to 240 degrees.
