The Knifefish is a heavyweight mine countermeasure (MCM) uncrewed undersea vehicle (UUV) being developed for deployment with the U.S. Navy's Littoral Combat Ships (LCS). A component of the LCS MCM mission package, the system is designed to operate in minefields as an off-board sensor, allowing the host ship to remain outside of the minefield.
