The Archerfish mine-disposal system is a single-shot mine-seeking expendable neutralizer. It is up to four times faster than conventional remote-controlled mine-disposal vehicles and provides simplified logistics and reduced lifecycle costs. It is a self-propelled torpedo-shaped vehicle containing a shaped-charge warhead.

Each Archerfish is equipped with a sonar, video camera and light to identify hostile mines. It is connected to its control console by a fiber-optic data link....
