The U.S. Navy's AN/SLQ-48 Mine Neutralization System (MNS) is a remotely piloted, uncrewed minehunting submersible. After decades in service, the SLQ-48 is being gradually retired. The SLQ-48 is larger than most mine neutralization systems. It looks less like a torpedo than many other such systems.
