The Alister is a family of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) developed for a range of missions. See "Variants," below, for information on the various models.

Offshoremagazine reported  on April 1, 2007, that development of the Alistar 3000 had culminated in a 10-day deepwater pipeline inspection evaluation for BP America in the Gulf of Mexico. In mid-2006, the system completed a preprogrammed inspection mission without a physical link to the surface.
