The Israeli navy has acquired eight ZIR'AH-class patrol boats, based on the U.S. DEFENDER design, for its Shapir port security, diving and sea warfare unit. Four are the 24 ft 11 in (7.6-m) model and four are the 30 ft 10 in (9.4 m) model.
