3 PO-2-class COASTAL PATROL CRAFT (ex-Soviet PO-2 class)
description
The PO-2 class were are an improved, faster version of the Soviet P-2 class. Delivered to Iraq in 1966, these boats performed coastal patrol duties.
HULL: These boats displaced 32.2 tons standard, and 38.2 tons while at full load. They measured 70 ft 6 in (21.5 m) in overall length, with beams of 11 ft 6 in (3.5 m) and drafts of 3 ft 2 in (1.0 m).
Each boat had a crew of eight, including two officers.
