The Soviet-built Osa II is an improved version of the basic Osa I** design, but is provided with the more-capable SS-N-2c Styx** anti-ship missiles (although the craft transferred to Ethiopia are armed with the SS-N-2b missiles).

These craft can be distinguished from the Osa I class by their circular missile tubes with rib-like rings. The gun and electronics are the same...
