The SLAZAK is a German-designed offshore patrol vessel based on the MEKO A100 design. It was originally projected to replace planned modified versions of the unsuccessful KASZUB-class corvettes. The ship was originally planned to be classified as a corvette, but was ultimately classified as an offshore patrol vessel.
