The Partial Air Cushion Supported Catamaran (PACSCAT) is an experimental vessel under development for the British Royal Navy. It utilizes a new hullform concept that combines high speed, good payload capabilities and a shallow draft, giving it good beaching qualities for off-loading vehicles, troops and supplies in support of amphibious operations.
