These British-built ships are similar in appearance and general characteristics to the NASR AL BAHR class built for the Omani navy. HULL: HULL: The Algerian units are distinguished by their through tank deck closed with bow and stern ramps. The forward ramp is 59 ft 1 in (18 m) long and 16 ft 5 in (5 m) wide; the rear ramp is 14 ft 1 in (4.3 m) long with the addition of 3 ft 7 in (1.1 m) finger flaps and 16 ft 5 in wide.
