The AN/SSQ-125 is NATO A-size multi-static active coherent (MAC) sonobuoy that is designed for use as a source in a multi-static field. The system can generate a variety of waveforms on command and is intended to work with AN/SSQ-53F, AN/SSQ-77C and AN/SSQ-101 (ADAR) sonobuoys.
