Type 2087

The Type 2087 sonar is a towed active low-frequency sonar developed to replace Type 2031 sonars on Britain's Type 23 (DUKE-class) frigates. It is designed to detect and track submarines beyond their attack range. It has improved range over the Type 2031, with bistatic and intercept capability.
