Type 967

The British Type 967 radar works in combination with the Type 968 radar. The Type 968 is the surface-search element of the Sea Wolf shipboard anti-missile defense system. It is always mounted back-to-back with the air-search Type 967 radar within a common rectangular housing; the combination of the two antennas gives broad elevation coverage and permits some specialization of function for each radar.
