The British Type 1007 shipboard navigation radar is based on the commercial Kelvin-Hughes Series 1600 and Radpak 16 systems. It has succeeded the conpany's Type 1006 navigation radar on new Royal Navy warship construction and will be backfitted to existing ships with a sufficient service life.
