The French Triton G is a combined search and target designation radar manufactured for export. Usually associated with the Vega fire control system, the Triton G can be fitted in combatants as small as 150 tons displacement.
One of its receiving channels employs Doppler velocity filtering for aerial target detection; another uses pulse-compression processing to distinguish genuine sea-skimming targets from background clutter.
