The British ST802 is a fire-control radar that is part of the Sapphire lightweight fire control system (FCS ) and is associated with the Marconi S810 and S811 radars. The Sapphire system uses the Sea Archer predictor to analyze tracking data generated by the ST802 radar.
The system can handle surface, air, and shore targets, predicting future tracks or positions for several weapons systems simultaneously and laying the weapons on the target.
