The SIMONE system (the named stands for ship's infrared monitoring, observation and navigation equipment) is a 360-degree infrared surveillance system designed to provide enhanced force protection and security for naval vessels.

Germany has selected it for its F125-class frigates, which are designed for stability operations. Delivery of the first of those ships, also known as the BADEN-WURTTEMBERG class , was originally set for 2016, but that date has slipped to 2017.
