The Mk 25 is the target acquisition and tracking radar for the Mk 37 gunfire-control system, which is used for 5-in (127-mm) dual-purpose guns. The radar can track either surface or air targets. The antenna is a parabolic dish.
status
The Mk 25 began to replace Mk 12/22 in 1948. It is no longer in production. More than 400 Mk 25s were built. The radar is in service in declining numbers.
