The French DRBR 51 radar operates with the shipboard, medium-range Masurca surface-to-air missile (SAM) system. The Masurca has been deployed in two versions: the Mod 2 beam-rider and Mod 3 semi-active radar (SAR) homer, of which only the SAR version is still in service. The operation of the two-an tenna DRBR 51 radar group has changed according to the associated missile system.
