The British AWS-6 is a surveillance and target indication radar in production for the export market. It has been designed for detection of targets with small radar cross-sections, particularly anti-ship missiles.
It has a lightweight linear-array antenna with two-axis stabilization that resembles a long box with an open lid. The "box" holds two feed arrays; a shorter Hazeltine identification-friend-or-foe (IFF) interrogator is mounted on the front.
