The AN/SPS-37 was a long-range air-search naval radar that was replaced by the AN/SPS-40 and AN/SPS-49 radars. It was a pulse-compression version of the AN/SPS-29. It was previously carried in the nuclear guided-missile cruiser BAINBRIDGE (CGN-25), aircraft carriers and various destroyer classes.
