The AN/BPS-12 is a medium-range surface search and navigation radar that was found on older U.S. attack submarines and now is only deployed on two Turkish submarines. The BPS-12 is a modified BPS-5 and is similar to the BPS-14 radar. It uses both a periscope antenna and a conventional antenna.
