Vigilant

Vigilant is a fully automated, mobile, 3-D, pulse-Doppler, low-level, air defense radar developed to complement AN/TPS-70 (see separate record). It is transportable by two vehicles or by aircraft, and can be set up in about 30 minutes by its four-person crew. The system is designed to operate as pa rt of an air defense sensor network and can be remotely controlled.
