The TRS 3405 is a stationary coastal surface surveillance radar that is especially resistant to clutter caused by surface condition and inclement weather. The TRS 3405 operates on various frequencies to produce a constant false alarm rate (CFAR) capable of automatically adapting to prevailing condi tions. This reduces the rate of false alarms while maximizing the detection of smaller craft.
