The TRS 2230 is one of a family of three-dimensional derivatives of the French SATRAPE air-surveillance radar. All of the radars in the TRS 2200 series are characterized by interchangeable parts and similarity of design, facilitating maintenance and interoperability. Differences in the size of the planar antenna account for the variations of the TRS 2230, which is designed to operate as a fixed-site/relocatable system.
