The TPQ-74K Weapon Locating Radar-II (sometimes translated as Counterbattery Radar II) is in development for the South Korean military. It was jointly developed by the South Korean Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) and LIG Nex1.
South Korea plans to deploy the radar along with its other counterbattery radars to protect Seoul and other locations close to the Demilitarized Zone from North Korea's arsenal of conventional artillery and rocket units.
