The Tactical Radar for Ground Surveillance (TRGS) is an active electronically scanned array (AESA) system designed to meet the German army's ground-surveillance radar program. The system uses the latest generation of X-band transmit/receive (T/R) modules from EADS Cassidian. It is designed to detect ground and low-flying air targets. The radar comes in two versions: mounted on a tripod and integrated with an extendable mast on Dingo 2 armored vehicles.
