The Small Scale Counterfire Radar was a vehicle-mounted system designed to detect incoming hostile fire.
When used with a standard land vehicle, such as an infantry fighting vehicle, the full system would consist of four vertical radar panels, each covering 120 degrees in azimuth and 60 degrees in elevation.
