The SATRAPE system is an electronic height-finding track-while-scan (TWS) radar developed for ground-based air defense.

The SATRAPE system consists of two radars, an azimuth scan and a height-finder, both contained under a radome. The azimuth scan radar is a large modified parabolic reflector plate mounted on an axle with the transmitter/receiver unit.
