The ELM-2226 is a coastal surveillance radar family that has been optimized to detect small surface targets under adverse sea conditions. The radar provides continuous, gap-free, automatic detection and tracking of targets and a low operator workload. The system can be built in a fixed or mobile configuration and has short-, medium- and long-range configurations. Israel Aerospace Industries subsidiary Elta Systems builds the radar.
