The Argos-10 was a high-power, fixed early warning search radar housed in a geodesic radome. The transmitter was water-cooled, and the system included a broad array of signal-processing capabilities.
Transmitter power output was unstated but thought to be several megawatts. The receiver used a dual-beam coherent combination; low-noise RF amplifier; parallel channels for multiple jammer coherent cancellation; and linear with adaptive clutter attenuator facilities.
