AN/PPS-11

The AN/PPS-11 and AN/PPS-12 are both hand-held battlefield surveillance radars for perimeter defense/ground approach warning uses. The PPS-11 uses modulated CW Doppler correlation equipment with a range of approximately 1 km (0.62 mi.) against vehicles and an accuracy of 8 m (26.2 ft). An audio sig nal is also available for identification of the type of target.
