The RASIT 3190B (Radar d'Acquisition et de Surveillance Intermediaire) is a long-range -- 40-km (24.8-mi) -- tactical battlefield surveillance radar, capable of identification and acquisition of ground or very low flying targets.
The RASIT's parabolic antenna emits a pulse-Doppler signal over a zone of variable length and width as selected by the operator. The RASIT can scan an identified range or be aimed at a specific target. RASIT can also detect pedestrians.
