Type BF

The Type BF system is a radar warning receiver. While in service, it was used for attack aircraft. It was capable of detecting radar emissions from any direction and could identify source type as well as approximate direction.

The system used four wide-band spiral antennas. The two side-mounted antennas were placed flat on the fin structure; the fore and aft antennas were on the fin and had conical radomes.
