The SPS-20 is a low-cost, lightweight aircraft protection system designed for both helicopters and fighter aircraft. It consists of a radar warning receiver/processor and several surface-mounted sensors.

The processor includes a threat data library that can be reprogrammed as required. Up to 16 threats are displayed in alphanumeric fashion on a 3-inch (76-mm) display unit, which advises the pilot of type, azimuth and relative lethality of intercepted threats.
