The Serval is a radar warning receiver in use on French Mirage 2000 aircraft. Serval 's four antennas are mounted on the wingtips facing forward and on the fore and aft ends of a rectangular housing near the tip of the tail.
The receiver is capable of comparing a received energy signature with a library of mission-determined threats and friendly sensor signatures. It incorporates a reprogrammable radar threat library for comparison and identification of emitters.
