The Sceptre is a modular shipboard electronic support measures (ESM) threat-detection system developed from the earlier Manta /UAH system in use on submarines. It is designed to be integrated with a ship's active countermeasures systems.
The non-scanning antennas are designed to provide instantaneous 360-degree azimuthal coverage with 100 percent probability of intercept.
