The ELT/156 is an Italian-made passive radar-warning receiver optimized for helicopters and light attack aircraft. It distinguishes range and bearing among air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles and anti-aircraft artillery.

Four antennas can be placed for broadband 360-degree azimuth coverage. The system has been lightened by improvements in the crystal video receiver and the signal processor.
