Elix-IR threat warning system

The Elix-IR is an infrared threat-warning system designed primarily for helicopters. It was intended to fill a capability gap in Afghanistan and Iraq when aircraft performed low-and-slow flight patterns, putting them at risk from small-arms fire, rocket-propelled grenades and surface-launched missiles.
