Eledone

The Eledone submarine-mounted sonar emission interceptor is a component of the integrated Eledone sonar system, but it can also be associated with a passive bow sonar when the latter is used as an independent sonar.

The set conducts a panoramic search of the entire range of useful frequencies, from low-frequency surface ship sonars to torpedo acoustic heads. The set also conducts direction-finding and pulse-analysis functions.
