Known in British service as the Rubber Duck, Replica is an inflatable, broad-band radio-frequency (RF) decoy. It consists of two inflatable rafts, each of which bears an octahedral reflector. The reflector shape permits full azimuth and elevation coverage from one deployed system.
The two rafts are connected to produce a false target the size of a frigate. The system can be launched automatically or manually.
